Life coaching is a collaborative process that aims to improve a person's quality of life, achieve personal goals, and foster a positive mindset. As a life coach specialising in working with individuals dealing with adult-acquired neurological diseases, I understand the unique challenges you face. I myself live with a rare neurological disease, and this personal experience enhances my ability to empathise with and support my clients.
Life coaching can benefit you in several ways. It can help you mourn your past life while also encouraging you to envision a hopeful future. It can help you shift your mindset from feeling burdened to feeling empowered, enabling you to see that you can still achieve meaningful goals despite your condition. Together, we will work towards fostering positivity, progress, and purpose in your life, alleviating the perceived weight on your loved ones. Overall, life coaching offers a supportive and understanding environment for you to navigate your journey with a neurological disease.
The coaching process begins with an initial consultation which I call a discovery call, during which we discuss your current situation, challenges, and goals. This conversation helps me understand your needs and expectations, and it's an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about the coaching process.
After the initial consultation, we will schedule regular coaching sessions. These typically last around 60 minutes, with flexibility to extend up to 90 minutes if needed to ensure we don't rush our discussions. During these sessions, I'll pose thought-provoking questions to encourage you to shift your perspectives, adapt to your circumstances, and set achievable goals.
The coaching process is collaborative and client-centred. I won't provide advice unless under exceptional circumstances. Instead, my role is to facilitate self-discovery and growth, helping you to realise that you can still achieve meaningful goals and envision a purposeful future, despite your neurological condition.
The frequency and number of sessions will depend on your individual needs and progress. We'll regularly review your progress towards your goals, and adjust our approach as necessary.
Remember, as a life coach, I'm here to support and empower you throughout your journey. The coaching process is flexible and can be adapted to suit your specific needs and circumstances.
As a life coach, I specialise in working with individuals grappling with adult-acquired neurological diseases. This is a group often confronted with unique challenges, including mourning their past lives, feeling uncertain about the future, and carrying the perceived weight of their condition on their loved ones.
My decision to focus on this group is deeply personal. I myself live with a rare neurological disease, and this firsthand experience gives me a unique understanding of the struggles and resilience of individuals in similar situations. I believe this personal insight enhances my ability to empathise with and support my clients in a way that might not be possible for those without similar experiences.
While I acknowledge that all neurological conditions come with their own unique challenges and experiences, my own journey has best equipped me to serve those with adult-acquired neurological diseases. However, the skills and strategies we discuss during coaching sessions can be beneficial to anyone seeking to shift their mindset, set realistic goals, and build a supportive community.
My coaching philosophy is centered around four core values: Empathy, Resilience, Positivity, and Empowerment.
Empathy is at the heart of my approach. As someone with personal experience of living with a neurological disease, I understand the unique challenges and emotions that come with this journey. This empathy allows me to connect deeply with my clients and provide a safe, understanding space for them.
Resilience is another key value. I believe in the strength of the human spirit and its ability to adapt and thrive in the face of adversity. My coaching encourages and nurtures this resilience, helping clients to navigate their new circumstances and continue to pursue meaningful goals.
Positivity is crucial in our work together. I aim to help clients shift their mindset towards positivity, fostering a hopeful outlook on the future. We focus on what can be achieved and the progress that can be made, rather than dwelling on limitations.
Lastly, Empowerment is integral to my approach. I strive to empower my clients to take control of their lives, make informed decisions, and feel confident in their abilities. I facilitate self-discovery and growth, rather than giving advice, helping clients to realise their potential and envision a purposeful future.
In essence, my coaching philosophy is about empowering individuals to navigate their journey with adult-acquired neurological diseases with empathy, resilience, positivity, and a sense of personal empowerment.
The cost of each life coaching session is £80. However, I do offer concessions based on individual circumstances, which we can discuss during a discovery call.
For those interested in a more comprehensive coaching journey, I offer package deals of 4, 8, and 12 sessions, with prices ranging from £300 to £880. These packages provide a structured approach to our work together and offer better value for money.
If you decide to become a client and are interested in a package deal, we can discuss payment plans during the discovery call to find an option that suits your financial situation. I accept payment via credit or debit card and bank transfer.
